I investigated origins of 30 herbal oriental medicines in pharmacopoeias and standard collections of China, Taibei, Japan, South and North Korea in order to the basic works for editing of Herbal Pharmacopoeia. The results were obtained as follows:
1. I could find a point of difference in origins of several herbal oriental medicines. For example, those were Anthrisci Radix(rjM), Drabae Semen(**-T), Tamaricis Ramulus(VIO), Gleditsiae Spina(VAAW, Gleditsiae Fructus(l-X), Bambusae Caulis In Taeniam(tffi).
2. I think that we should make clear medicinal point of Perilla Herb( 6 ), Asteris Radix(* Vg), Camphorum(r f`), Sambuci Lignum( F *).
According to above these results, we should many studies on the point of difference in medicinal origins in order to basic works of oriental herb pharmacopoeia.
